Zion

The hike back down from Angels Landing- so weary, so grateful and so inspired

I get so much of my inspiration from being out in nature- I spent much of my childhood on the Lost Coast in Northern California.

It was rugged and wild and sometimes really scary but there was a solace, a tranquility and an absolute grandeur - which I have been chasing ever since.

And I found it this fall when I visited Zion National Park for the first time as an adult. I am always inspired by nature but this visit, this Zion, this place, it stole my heart and fueled me with an inspiration I haven’t felt in years.

Before leaving the park I started working on this new design - and this new style. Ever learning I realized the gift of what I do is also having the space to create what I need to share- my new 12 x 16 line is a showcase of every place I’ve been slayed by the beauty.
